Davide Varotto
He received his degree in architecture at the Venice Architectural Institute in 1995. During the academic period, he participated in international architecture workshops. He enrolled in industrial design classes at the Italian School of Design in Padua (1991-1992).
He participated in various competitions and exhibitions, winning awards and mentions including:
Office design competition 1997, promoted by Cosmit, second prize ex-aequo.
Young & Design Competition, 2001 edition, two mentions for Max stool (Lapalma) and Musa chaise-longue (Malofancon), in 2002 for the Nadia chair and in 2003 for Bit computer case (Bellato). He participated in the Salone Satellite 2000 (MI) and Salone Satellite 2001 (MI). Was in the invited competition “35 furnishing ideas” Leather line, Bologna, 2002 and the “Avverati” exhibition, projects from Salone Satellite. Salone Satellite Milan 2007. Besides his individual design activities, he collaborated with important design and architecture firms:
Studio Enzo Berti designer (1998-1999, Dolo – Ve), design, fair exhibitions.
Studio Claudio Caramel architect (2002-2007, Padua) design and construction supervision for architecture, interior design, fair exhibitions and design projects. Numerous publications in industry magazines.
