Gianpiero de Candia
Born in Trieste in 1971.
In 1990 he was in Venice where he enrolled in the IUAV University and started working with various Italian and foreign firms dealing with architectural design and the restoration of historic buildings. At the same time he was working on projects with cultural associations for the study and diffusion of modern and contemporary art.
In 1997 he was involved in interior design and the design and creation of furnishings that were not mass produced.
In 2003 he moved to Trieste where he founded a group of architects, firm M.A.P 29, which was inspired by the principles of sustainable architecture and participatory planning to be applied to every design scale and environment.
